This Blood DK macro has high potential. Many players come to me for custom GSE macros with special requirements — not just to automate skills, but to gain better control, timing, and adaptability. Based on my experience, most players actually dislike "full automation" — meaning putting all abilities, including mitigation, into a single GSE sequence. Instead, removing certain key spells from the rotation and casting them manually offers much better control. This approach is especially effective in Mythic+ and PvP, where having decision-making power allows you to deliver critical strikes, such as massive AoE bursts. Below is a detailed explanation of how this macro works.


Macro Overview

  • KF_BloodDK_All: Suitable for Mythic+, Revisited Horrific Visions, world quests, and general solo content.

Notes

  • Built around the Deathbringer spec, this macro includes two interchangeable sequences. Sequence 1 (default) uses your trinkets. Sequence 2 does not use trinkets and skips Reaper's Mark, giving you manual control for better burst execution. You can switch between sequences in the Configuration tab.


  • Both sequences intentionally exclude Vampiric Blood, Icebound Fortitude, and Marrowrend. The first two are critical defensive tools — automating them can result in poor timing and potentially wipe the group. The highlight here is Marrowrend, which, when manually triggered during its highlight window, enables the powerful Exterminate passive effect. If you automate Marrowrend, you may still trigger Exterminate, but you’ll waste valuable resources. So after careful testing, manual control is strongly recommended.
  • Alt + GSE hotkey: Casts Anti-Magic Zone at your own location
  • Shift + GSE hotkey: Casts Raise Ally on mouseover friendly target
  • Ctrl + GSE hotkey: Casts Abomination Limb
