Balance Druid Raid GSE Macro

This article introduces a Balance Druid GSE macro based on the KEEPER OF THE GROVE heroic talent build, with a focus on raid encounters. The macro is lightweight yet delivers solid utility and damage. The core rotation is simple: cast Starfire twice to trigger Eclipse, then follow up with six casts of Wrath to maintain a steady damage output. Below is a test screenshot showing the rotation without any burst cooldowns enabled.



As for buff uptime, even after combat ends, your DOTs remain active and continue to contribute to the result. So the real Eclipse uptime is significantly higher than the 68% shown in the image.


Macro Overview

  • KF_BD_Raid: This macro is specifically designed for raid scenarios, and I strongly recommend using it in raids. However, it's also suitable for solo content and PvP. I don’t recommend this playstyle for Mythic+ dungeons.

Notes

  • This macro includes Force of Nature, Celestial Alignment, Convoke the Spirits, and your on-use trinkets. You’ll need to target the ground manually in combat to ensure accurate casting of Force of Nature.
  • If you prefer to manually control your burst abilities, you can disable Action Blocks 2.3 and 2.4. To do so, check “Disable Block” for 2.3 and 2.4 under the Default tab and save the macro while out of combat.
  • The macro opens with Sunfire and Moonfire, both of which will be recast periodically. They’re fully integrated into the rotation to ensure DOT uptime. Note: Sunfire will also cast again when you change targets or re-enter combat.
  • One final tip: If you find it difficult to enter Eclipse due to gear or stat differences, feel free to adjust the length of Action Block 2.2 by increasing or reducing the number of Wrath casts.


  • Alt + GSE hotkey: Casts Regrowth on yourself.
